Villa Seminyak Bali, A dream come true…
In her plans to leave England and start a new life in Australia, Jane proposed a stopover in Bali. No one, especially Jane, would have believed the island would take a hold of her for 7 years!
After stumbling across the house during the early stages of construction, Jane approached the owner for permission to take over the lease and to add her own personal touches. The adjoining land was acquired later for the swimming pool which was an essential part of creating Jane’s piece of paradise.
As a dedicated yoga teacher, Jane pursued her passion and embraced her newfound lifestyle. She held regular yoga lessons in the large open space between the lounge and dining rooms and settled into new friendships.Then beautiful villas seminyak bali came along. With her dark hair and dark eyes, she was an irresistible baby and quickly became an integral of the household. As a safeguard at night, the bedroom doors were locked but Poppy and Jane were never far apart. You may notice the little doorway (“Poppy’s door”) between the two downstairs bedrooms. This was a safe and easy way for Poppy Seminyak Villas Bali to get to her Mum if she needed her during the night.
Eventually, Jane felt she should move on to Australia, as originally planned. Arrangements were made for the house to be available for rental and mother and daughter moved to Melbourne. This is when Villa Poppy Seminyak was actually born.
Under management and with the help of the dedicated staff, Villa Poppy Seminyak became a hideaway for those who were fortunate enough to discover the house. Because of the location, it was perfect for long term rentals and holiday makers.
After three years, Jane decided it was time to let go. Melbourne was truly her home now. The downturn in tourism resulting from the devastating Bali Bombing in October 2002 only concreted her decision to take some action. Eventually, fate stepped in. Through a mutual friend, Jane heard about my obsession with Bali and my desire for an opportunity to embrace the people, the culture and the beauty of the island.
One look at Villa Poppy Seminyak and I fell in love. I could see enormous potential in presenting the house as a comfortable, traditional home away from home. With invaluable help from a team of fantastic people, we gradually transformed Villa Poppy into how you see it now. Villa Poppy had been re-born!
