Renovating our home
Right now my husband and I are in the process of renovating our home. It’s about 20 years old and we just purchased it 6 months ago. Some of the furnishings and decor were very outdated. We’re replacing things like all the carpets in the bedrooms, taking down old wall paper, replacing appliances and painting the walls. It’s a work in progress because we’re doing most of the work ourselves. I find it’s more fulfilling that way, because once the work is done, we can look back on it and feel a greater sense of accomplishment. Also, we get to save a lot of money.
