Tiffany Style Lamps - Perking Up a Sense of Art

At its most basic, a Tiffany style lamp is a lighting fixture that uses a brightly colored stained glass shade. Once its light is switched on, the colored glass brings the design on the shade to life and ultimately bringing the entire fixture to its most glorious form. The images on Tiffany style lamps are quite lovely and are said to have derived from the Art Nouveau movement that began early in the last century. Yet, to have one in your home implies that you have to shell out a significant amount of cash (especially the original creations of Louis Tiffany), but thanks to the Tiffany style lamps available in most lighting store – you get to enjoy having such a beauty in your home at a cost that doesn’t necessarily burn a hole in your pocket.
