Space is needed for sectionals
Contemporary sectional furniture can stay in style for years. With modern sectional furniture, be prepared to change it much sooner. Contemporary furniture lends itself quite well to many differnt styles of homes also. Homes are said to have personalities. For example, I could not imagine seeing a modern sectional in a cape cod designed home. Sectionals are bulky furniture. This is not a negative thing if the room is spacious. It can become difficult to vacuum the floor if a room with a sectional is small. By the way, I’ve seen homes with sectionals where the only thing that could fit in the room was the sectional. I wonder if the homeowner gave thought to the amount of space that was needed for the sectional.
