Is Consumer Debt Negotiation Possible?
Without a question, if you have enough money to make a settlement offer, you can negotiate your way out of a number of debts. As an example, in many cases, if you defaulted on your credit cards, the bank may accept anywhere from 30% - 50% of your balance as payment in full. That said, you may have to wait some time before these offers come through. If you feel that you cannot carry on a conversation with your creditor without losing control of your emotions, it may be best to write a letter, or have a lawyer make the arrangements. While consumer debt negotiation is not always easy, you should be able to manage it and gain relief from some of your creditors.
